Edinburgh ADHD Assessments

//The ADHD assessment for Children and Adolescents involves:

1. Completion of screening questionnaires.
2. Information gathered directly from your child’s educational placement (school/ college/ university).
3. Developmental History interview with parents (usually completed online)
4. QbTest - The QbTest is a computerised assessment that measures attention, impulsivity, and activity levels in real time.  
5. A feedback session where we go through the results of the assessment and consider what future support would be helpful.

A detailed report is provided at the conclusion of the assessment, with recommendations which is yours to share with whomever you feel appropriate. 

//The ADHD assessment for adults involves:

1. Completion of screening questionnaires.
2. If possible, gathering collateral written information from someone who knows you well  
3. 3.. Cinical interview considering background information, general history, mental health and ADHD symptoms  
4. QbTest - The QbTest is a computerised assessment that measures attention, impulsivity, and activity levels in real time.  
5. A feedback session where we go through the results of the assessment and consider what future support would be helpful.

A detailed report is provided at the conclusion of the assessment, with recommendations which is yours to share with whomever you feel appropriate.
